We fell them down and turn them into paper,
That we may record our emptiness."

Out & About

I would like to express my thanks to Carl Sharpe for featuring my poem, Contemplating People, and a reading on Verse Wrights this week. His enthusiasm and encouragement is greatly appreciated.

  1. Such a powerful reading, Kerry--the truth in the verse, the heartbreaking imagery, the tone... just striking.

  2. I loved hearing you read out aloud Kerry❤️ It was poignant, powerful and the emotions which you described are absolutely arresting especially;"So little time to find the soap … Rinse the sullen crimson tide from your fingers. Ponder the inevitable fall. Cracked heels. Rise from bed. This life. Uncovered. Art." Sigh..❤️ Beautifully rendered.

    Lots of love,
    Sanaa

  3. Went to site. I would really consider continuing to recite your poetry. It added so much. (add some soft background music)
