Restless after dark
A blackbird flies alone
Where no torch burns the shadows ~
Cupping the moon in my palm
I am the eclipse

For Sherry, after a month of poetry writing, the toads are Celebrating Ordinary Things.
I am on a break from poetry, and have turned again to my inks to illustrate a micro-poem from the Skylover archives.

  3. This is gorgeous! Your illustration is incredibly beautiful, and I drank up every word of your poem. I especially love the cupping of the moon in your palm, as I did once, on a memorable evening in the long-ago.

    1. I have had new ink for a month which I haven't had the chance to try out. This was a quick sketch! I'm glad it worked out.
