  1. I am going nuts over this; I love it so much! This makes me want to write again. It’s pure magic, the way you’re swirling words and visual art. I am stoked to be along for the ride.

An underwater hot-air balloon made of birthday-party jellyfish — dude, you are SO creative! My daughter would love this. She wants to be a marine biologist, and she is all about jellyfish.

    1. I also love that there are two very different definitions of “coruscating,” and likewise, that jellies are beautiful and magical, as well as dangerous and painful to be around.

  2. You have two talents!! Love that word..."coruscating" I've never stepped on a jellyfish but know someone who did.

  3. Such a gorgeous illustration.......love the idea of in-flight jellies. They are so beautiful to watch in the water.

  4. This is exquisitely drawn, Kerry!💝 I love how you have used the word "coruscating," to portray both the brilliance and dangers of jellyfish in this American sentence.

  5. I love this... there is something that makes me think of a children's book in this (it's probably those sweet balloons)

    1. Thank you, Bjorn. Sometimes it is good to remember the child inside.

  6. The words and the picture complete each other. Jelly fish is beautiful to watch though from a distance!
