As it happens, I am trying something relatively new this October, in conjunction with the #inktober2019 fest on Instagram.. that is The American Sentence, Allen Ginsberg's answer to haiku (another form I never write). So in celebration of October, I am sharing my first American sentence of the month - of a planned 31!

DeleteOh, Kerry his is exciting! Your drawing reminds me of a children's story-I must go figure it out. I can see an image with a fish and a ring, but can't place it. This is a stunning in both forms of ink!

ReplyDeleteThis is super Kerry, thank you for sharing. American sentences are fun! Allen and his best “beat” buddies, William S. Burroughs, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Gary Snyder, Michael McClure, and Jack Kerouac were damned cool!
